Yet another fire hit Brest in 1835. Under the general heading the fate of the prayer-houses and synagogues, we see

The translation:
The fate of all the houses of the citizens in the old city was also the fate of the prayer-houses in the city: some were burned down, some were destroyed. These were built anew in the new city, and named after their predecessors. Additional prayer-houses were added in the new city.
The author goes on to say that only the great synagogue of the old city survived (until 1842), so we can conclude that this fire of 1835 destroyed some number of synagogues as well as prayer houses.
